Our Story:

Southern Harvest Soul Food is a story of faith, family, and obedience. In November 2018, Oxford, Mississippi natives Terrance and Tameka Tallie began turning a God-given vision into reality, a restaurant where the flavors of home, genuine hospitality, and a love for people could come together around the table.

Just a few months later, on January 14, 2019, Southern Harvest Soul Food opened its doors in Jacksonville, North Carolina. What began as a step of faith has grown into a place where our Mississippi roots and North Carolina home come together through good food and genuine connection.

For us, Southern Harvest has always been about more than food. It's about faith, family, and creating a place where everyone who walks through our doors can feel at home.

At Southern Harvest, food brings us to the table, but people are at the heart of what we do. Our mission is to serve flavorful, quality Southern food with genuine hospitality while creating a place where everyone who walks through our doors feels welcomed.

From breakfast with family to lunch with friends, we prepare every plate with the care, flavor, and traditions rooted in our Mississippi upbringing.
